Meanwhile, Russia's Interior Ministry told TASS that about 1,500 people took part in the "uncoordinated demonstration" in St. Petersburg. The ministry said around 750 people were arrested.

According to the human rights organization monitoring the detentions, OVD-Info, more than 13,000 people have been arrested in Russia for taking part in anti-war demonstrations since the invasion began.
