Traveling Bringing Children, This Is What You Must Prepare

The Lebaran moment is often used by Indonesian people to go home or just traveling with family. However, long trips can make babies and children fussy. In order for the Little One to stay comfortable during the trip, you need to complete your needs with the following guidelines.

Vacationing with family is a fun moment, especially when carrying your little one. However, this moment can turn out to be troublesome if the child is fussy or crying endlessly.

Traveling long distances by carrying small children is certainly not an easy matter. This can be a challenge for Mom and Dad. Especially if the trip takes hours, the little one will feel bored, tired, hungry, and sleepy, so it becomes fussy.

List of objects that must be carried
Before traveling with your baby, you need to pay attention to a number of things, namely the destination, the type of transportation used, and how long you will go or stay overnight.

The equipment needed by the baby or children during the trip is quite a lot, ranging from diapers, change clothes, milk bottles, wet and dry tissues, to toys. In order not to get confused when packing, here is a list of things you should take when traveling with your Little One:

Diapers and needles.
Wet wipes and tissues
Change clothes, socks and gloves (you should bring a few pairs).
Formula milk (if your child doesn't drink ASI).
Milk bottles and sterile milk containers, as well as breast milk pumps.
The bag contains a thermometer and drugs, such as paracetamol, itch ointment, and child balm.
Snacks, if the little one has been given MPASI.
Toiletries.
Pillows and blankets.
Toy.
Dot.
Hand sanitizer.
Tips for Children Not Fussy in Travel
So that the Little One is not fussy during the trip, Mother must make her feel comfortable. The following are some tips for making children comfortable on long trips:

Make sure your little one feels full before starting the trip.
If you are traveling by car, make sure your little one sits on a car seat or child car seat. Make sure the safety is properly installed and the little one sits in a position. If he begins to feel uncomfortable or drunk on his way, immediately pull over.
If you use public transportation, such as a bus or train, use a seat belt if you don't let your little one crawl or walk around the seat when the vehicle is moving. Keep him sitting in your lap.
If you use a plane, choose the most scheduled flight in the morning. Because at this hour, the plane is not too crowded and usually children will sleep more.
By doing the things above and preparing everything well, traveling with children will be more fun. However, you still need to be vigilant. Because the body's resistance is not as good as that of an adult, the Little One is vulnerable to illness, such as colds, bloating, or flu.

If this happens, you can overcome the discomfort felt by your child by applying baby balm. Baby balm can provide a relaxing effect to help him sleep better and soothe his breathing, especially when the child is experiencing symptoms of a cold. Choose balsam which contains natural ingredients, such as chamomile and eucalyptus extract. Avoid balms that use synthetic fragrances and alcohol, because they can cause irritation to the child's skin.

If your child still feels uncomfortable and fussy even after using a baby balm, you are advised to consult the nearest pediatrician.
